SmartSpace Installation

Whatever combination of Ubisense products and SmartSpace features you need, you follow a similar path to set up your server(s), and install and configure Ubisense services:

  1. Install the Ubisense platform and services for core features. Required.

    Also install any additional services for features you have licensed. Optional.

  2. Install software for other Ubisense products (DIMENSION4, ACS, Series 7000). Optional.

  3. Configure the web server. Optional.

  4. Complete the configuration of the SmartSpace features you have installed. Required.

The information provided in the following installation guides takes you through this software installation process for the latest version of SmartSpace (see the Documentation Library for earlier versions) to get a core SmartSpace system up and running along with any other Ubisense products required. Steps 1 and 2, above. Use the wizard below to select the correct guide for your combination of products.

If you have licensed any web-based features, you will also need to follow the instructions in Ubisense Installation Guide for SmartSpace Web (step 3, above).

You will need to carry out additional configuration for many of the SmartSpace features. See the applicable sections of this website (or download the relevant PDFs). Step 4.
